esea contemporary is a registered charity. Since 1986 we have endeavoured to spotlight the creative power, innovation, and experiences of Asian artists, thinkers, and communities in the UK and beyond. While we receive our core funding from Arts Council England and Greater Manchester Combined Authority, we rely on the generous support of our patrons and partners to deliver our boundary-pushing, community-oriented programme.

Your donation today will further our mission of empowering and platforming Asian voices, talents, and communities through contemporary art. Your support keeps our experiences free and ensures that the legacy of our programmes and communities is preserved in our archive for generations to come. Furthermore, you will enable us to advance creative and cultural practices and knowledge, and develop and deliver our learning and engagement programmes for all ages.

Tax effective giving

If you are a UK taxpayer you can Gift Aid your donation. Gift Aid enables esea contemporary to reclaim tax that has already been paid on your donation, increasing the value of your contribution by 25% at no extra cost to you. This means that for every £1 you donate, we receive £1.25.

Whether from donations, volunteering, or your membership with esea contemporary, we are deeply grateful for your support. Thank you!

Volunteer

This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team as a volunteer. We are looking for volunteers to bring the gallery to life as we get ready to open our upcoming exhibition and programme.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet new people, and develop new skills and knowledge. Get behind the scenes and gain experience working for a unique contemporary art space in the centre of Manchester.
