esea contemporary is located in the vibrant Northern Quarter of Manchester's city centre, offering RIBA award-winning spaces that are well-equipped and fully accessible to accommodate various functions and events.

All income generated by the hire of our spaces directly supports our artistic programme and community engagement activity.

esea Studio

Situated on our lower ground floor, the esea Studio is a purpose-built space perfect for workshops, talks, seminars, and a variety of other private functions. It is equipped with projector and speakers in situ. The space is fully flexible with a removable partition wall that can be pulled across for breakout sessions or added privacy in meetings.

Communal Project Space

With its convenient street access and generous windows, the Communal Project Space is an ideal option for pop-up events and activities. This versatile space is available for a limited duration, serving as an intermediary venue between our exhibitions and public programmes.

In addition to providing the esea Studio for one-off events and activities, we are currently looking for a regular hire or long-term tenants to occupy a selection of our desk and office spaces.
