Join wine writer Kelly Liang for a joyful and engaging afternoon of wines and stories. This workshop series, ‘Colour & Corks: Wine Tasting Reimagined’, aims to create an inclusive, interactive, and thought-provoking space where participants can explore how people, identities, and cultures are connected through wine.

Together, we will taste and talk about wine not merely as a commodity, but as an artistry and craft made with passion and dedication. We will appreciate winemakers, growers, grapes and styles from around the world. Whether you're a complete novice or an expert collector, this workshop offers something new and exciting.

The theme for this month is "journey." Kelly will invite participants to savour five delicious wines from three different continents, each representing unique grape growing and winemaking practices with rich cultural and historical backgrounds, including:

  • An award-winning English sparkling wine
  • A best-selling rosé from Portugal
  • An amber wine from the cradle of wine, Georgia
  • A velvety red wine that has rewritten the play book in Bordeaux
  • A sweet wine loved by many intellectuals and world leaders

This is a ticketed event designed to stimulate thoughts and conversations among a small group of attendees. All proceeds will support esea contemporary's mission of promoting diversity and progress in the art world. We thank Boutinot Wines, Hatch Mansfield and the Whisky Exchange for their generous support.
